Billboard has announced that the remix has hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs Chart. It replaces sombr’s “Back To Friends,” reaching No. 1 for the week of May 2. Simultaneously, the remix is also No. 1 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. It also replaced sombr on the Hot Rock Songs chart, and the Hot Alternative Songs. That marks three multi-metric rock and alternative charts that “Dracula” has passed “Back To Friends.” sombr held the top spot on multiple charts for 25 nonconsecutive weeks.
Billboard reports that the song registered 12 million official streams, 15.2 million in radio airplay audience impressions, and 2,000 sales downloads in the United States for the tracking week of April 17-23. “Dracula” remains at No. 2 on the Rock Streaming Songs chart and Alternative Streaming chart. It remains at No. 1 on the Rock Digital Song Sales and Alternative Digital Songs Sales for a third week. In February 2020, Tame Impala narrowly missed a No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative chart. “Breathe Deeper” peaked at No. 2 on the chart and, until now, was their highest-charting position.
A Brief History of Tame Impala and JENNIE
Tame Impala is the project of multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. Parker writes, records, and produces his own music while also performing with a full live band.
