Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula” Remix Takes No. 1 Position on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs Chart

Released in September 2025, “Dracula” became a commercially successful single for Tame Impala. It became their first-ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. On February 6, 2026, a remix was released featuring JENNIE, a popular South Korean singer. The remix made “Dracula” an even bigger hit, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200. It’s the first from Tame Impala to enter the top-10 on the Global 200, and it’s JENNIE’s fifth to do so. The remix has turned “Dracula” into a worldwide success.

Billboard has announced that the remix has hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs Chart. It replaces sombr’s “Back To Friends,” reaching No. 1 for the week of May 2. Simultaneously, the remix is also No. 1 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. It also replaced sombr on the Hot Rock Songs chart, and the Hot Alternative Songs. That marks three multi-metric rock and alternative charts that “Dracula” has passed “Back To Friends.” sombr held the top spot on multiple charts for 25 nonconsecutive weeks.

Billboard reports that the song registered 12 million official streams, 15.2 million in radio airplay audience impressions, and 2,000 sales downloads in the United States for the tracking week of April 17-23. “Dracula” remains at No. 2 on the Rock Streaming Songs chart and Alternative Streaming chart. It remains at No. 1 on the Rock Digital Song Sales and Alternative Digital Songs Sales for a third week. In February 2020, Tame Impala narrowly missed a No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative chart. “Breathe Deeper” peaked at No. 2 on the chart and, until now, was their highest-charting position.

A Brief History of Tame Impala and JENNIE

Tame Impala is the project of multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. Parker writes, records, and produces his own music while also performing with a full live band. It gives Parker tremendous creative control that has captivated fans for more than a decade. Their initial popularity came from the debut album Innerspeaker in 2010 and its follow-up Lonerism in 2012.

In 2015, Tame Impala released Currents, which is often considered Kevin Parker’s masterpiece. Jennie Kim, often stylized as JENNIE, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. She’s best known as a member of BLACKPINK, a globally successful K-pop girl group. She’s been a member of the group since 2016 and acts as the group’s main rapper and lead vocalist. JENNIE has embarked on a successful solo career since 2018. Her 2025 album Ruby was an international success, reaching the top-10 in 10 or more countries. Ruby generated five hit singles, leading to her success with the “Dracula” remix.
