Kiss That Girl Goodbye

Album: Red Bandana (2019)
  • This uptempo percussion-driven song is a celebratory track about breaking up and moving on.

You got no more tears to cry
And you're long gone like a whisper in the wind
That boy can kiss that girl goodbye

Watson wrote the empowering tune late one night after a show. He explained on Twitter that earlier in the evening, he'd met a fan "who was in tears after being stood up on a date."

"I wanted to come out of the gates with a fast, fun, boot-stomper," Watson added.
