  • Ambré Perkins, known mononymously as Ambré, is a singer and songwriter from New Orleans. She first caught the industry's attention with her co-writing credits on two tracks, "Changes" and "U," which appeared on H.E.R.'s 2017 Grammy-nominated self-titled album. Four years later, Ambré teamed up with Kehlani on her Blue Water Road bop, "Altar." Ambré released her debut major label EP, Pulp, in November 2019 after signing to Roc Nation. This is a track from 3000°, her second EP.
  • Here, Ambré sings about being confident in herself and her sexuality. Though the singer talks big, she still loves it when her lover calls her "baby."
  • Ambré duets with London singer-songwriter JVCK James on the track. James flaunts his prowess between the sheets and wonders why Ambre feels the need to hook up with other men.
  • Ambré linked up with JVCK James after following him on social media for a while. None of their previous sessions panned out, but the New Orleans native persisted, and when she sent JVCK the track, he was hooked. "I feel like all the features I do are usually super easy like that, but it's organic, and I prefer that, " she told told Billboard. "I feel like all the features I do are usually super easy like that, but it's organic, and I prefer that."
  • Released on June 17, 2022, "I'm Baby" not only was Ambré's first entry on Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay chart, but it climbed to the top of the tally. She became the first woman to notch a #1 with a first title on the listing as a lead artist since Snoh Aalegra with "I Want You Around" in 2020.
