A track from Angie Miller's debut Weathered EP, this finds the American Idol alumna wishing for great things. "'Dream big' has always been a motto of mine and everybody knows that — even my fans go by the name 'Dreamers,'" she told Billboard magazine. "So 'Miles' illustrates how my dreams, at times, feel so far out of reach — as if they're not even obtainable. But, I know that with perseverance, you can be rewarded."
Weathered was released independently on November 12, 2014 with the help of a PledgeMusic campaign. It was produced by Red Decibel, who are the songwriting and production team of Adam Watts and Andy Dodd. They recorded the entire EP in one week.
The song "Sadeness" by Enigma (the one with the chanting monks), got its name from the French novelist Marquis de Sade, who believed sex had to be painful in order to be pleasurable - thus the word "sadism."
