  • The Spanish word "vete" means "go away from here." This song finds Bad Bunny addressing a girl he's split up with. The beginning of the chorus, translated into English, reads:

    The Puerto Rican singer-rapper makes it clear to his former lover he wants absolutely nothing to do with her henceforward.
  • The intro interpolates reggaeton singer Noriega's 2004 hit "Si Te Vas."
  • The song was produced by Bad Bunny's previous collaborator Subelo NEO, who is also known for working with Lunay ("A Solas") and Eladio Carrión ("Mi Cubana" remix).
