Songfacts®:

  • Fifteen years after Baha Men hit with "Who Let The Dogs Out," they released this update, which samples the famous question from the original. In "Off The Leash," the dogs are loose and on the prowl, roaming the streets untethered.
  • This incorporates EDM beats, something that Baha Men lead vocalist Rik Carey feels is a natural progression for the group. "Because we're from the island, we're always partying and we love upbeat music," he said in his Songfacts interview. "So this is the perfect time to marry that sound with EDM. So that's why we did 'Off The Leash.'"
