Songfacts®:

  • This ska-tinged track features Santigold. The story of how the UK dance/electronic duo Basement Jaxx hooked up with the American singer-songwriter goes as follows. The twosome were in New York to record a track with Yoko Ono for their 5th studio album, Scars. Unfortunately Felix Buxton from the duo had a bust-up with his girlfriend, who was upset at the time he was spending in the Big Apple. A fuming Buxton penned this track after their row. He recalled to The London Times September 18, 2009 "To get it off my chest I sang it when I got into the studio and Santigold came in and said: 'That's wicked! I'd like to sing that'."
