God Made You Beautiful

Album: Single Release Only (2013)
  • This mid tempo ballad was released as a promotional single from Beyoncé's autobiographical Life Is But a Dream DVD. It was given free to fans who pre-ordered the documentary.
  • The song is a powerfully sung ode to Beyoncé's baby daughter, Blue Ivy. She sings:

    "When you were born
    The angels sighed in delight
They never thought they'd see such a beautiful sight."

Blue Ivy's father, Jay-Z, previously rapped about his newly born daughter on the track "Glory," which features her cries and coos.
