  • The song is a powerfully sung ode to Beyoncé's baby daughter, Blue Ivy. She sings:

    "When you were born
    The angels sighed in delight
    They never thought they'd see such a beautiful sight."

    Blue Ivy's father, Jay-Z, previously rapped about his newly born daughter on the track "Glory," which features her cries and coos.
