Songfacts®:

  • This bass-driven dance pop track about drinking and partying was produced by Bloodshy and Avant, the Swedish production team behind Spears' previous hits "Toxic" and "Piece of Me." The duo has worked with a number of other international artists including Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Jordin Sparks. They also make up two-thirds of the band Miike Snow.
  • The lyric, "You must be B.I.G. because you've got me hypnotized," is an allusion to Rapper The Notorious B.I.G's 1997 chart-topping single, "Hypnotize."
  • Rolling Stone writer Rob Sheffield named this as his Top Song of 2011 in the magazine's Pop Life column describing it as "fiendishly inventive girl noise."
