  • Bullet For My Valentine bass player Jay James told Metal Hammer magazine: "Basically, it is written about life and death. It is very personal to me. Because it happened to me a year and a half ago that my father passed away and my daughter was born. Someone comes in the world and someone goes out of the world. That's what the song is about. It is a very important song for me and the band because it was a hard time for us when this happened."

Matthew "Matt" Tuck said in the same interview: "It was a really dark time for the band. We were actually touring with Guns N' Roses when this happened. Which is an amazing thing to do - and then Jay got the call to come home to spend time with his father. It is definitely the saddest song on the album."
