Songfacts®:

  • This song features in the Keanu Reeves-starring action movie John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Gavin Rossdale originally penned "Bullet Holes" with film composer Tyler Bates for a Bush record. At that time Bates was working on the score for the John Wick film and once Rossdale sang the chorus, he felt the song would be a perfect complement to the project.
  • Rossdale explained to SiriusXM's Larry Flick that when he wrote "Bullet Holes" with Bates they didn't have the John Wick movie in mind; in fact they had a different track as a potential song for the movie. "And then just the way that the words that I wrote just really fit with the whole symphony thing, and bullet holes, obviously," he added.
