  • Chase Rice told Billboard magazine this is his favorite song on Ignite the Night. "It's about my life and how crazy it is now," the North Carolina native explained. "'When I need someone to remind me of who I am, Carolina Can.' I love that song because it's very personal to me. It's Carolina, where I grew up after we moved there from Florida. There's a lot of my personal life in that three minutes."
  • Rice sang "Carolina Can" on October 26, 2024 at the Concert For Carolina, held in Charlotte to raise money for victims of Hurricane Helene, which battered the state a month earlier. The concert was organized by two other North Carolinians: Eric Church and Luke Combs.
