Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Cody singing about breaking up and moving on, only to find his problems don't disappear. It was inspired by the time the singer and his girlfriend, cover model Gigi Hadid, split up for a couple of months. "I wrote that in a little bit more of a somber couple of weeks that I had on a break with my girlfriend," he told MTV News. "Definitely not calling her out again or anything; it had more of a negative connotation."
