  • Shifty Shellshock's real name is Seth Binzer.
  • Shellshock has had drug problems. The band was kicked off the 2000 Ozzfest tour after he relapsed and trashed the backstage area. With Shellshock cleaned up, they were invited back on Ozzfest 2001.
  • As a teenager, Shellshock made money skateboarding and break-dancing.
  • Their first two singles tanked. The third, "Butterfly," was a huge hit. It was not released until the album it was part of, The Gift Of Game, had been out for almost a year.
  • They gained exposure in 1999 and 2000 by touring with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Methods Of Mayhem, and Buckcherry.
  • Shellshock went out with actress Rachael Leigh Cook for a time.
  • Epic Mazur's dad, Irwin Mazur, managed Billy Joel in the early 1970s.
  • Epic and Shifty were introduced to each other by The Black Eyed Peas back when they were a hip-hop group.
  • Orgy lead singer Jay Gordon used to be the bassist for Crazy Town.
  • James Bradley had a bit role in the 1967 movie Cool Hand Luke (He was about 10). Shellshock has a small part in the 1994 film Clifford.
  • Bradley has toured with both Chuck Mangione and the Beastie Boys.
  • Kraig Tyler met the band when he was a road mixer for Tommy Lee's Methods of Mayhem and Crazy Town was the opening act.
  • Shellshock was found dead in his Los Angeles home on June 24, 2024, aged 49 from an accidental drug overdose.
