Songfacts®:

  • This song is a track from Cursed Earth's concept album, Cycles of Grief Volume II: Decay. Vocalist Jazmine Luders explained to Kerrang:

"It's the climax of our story of the cycle of grief. It's told from the perspective of the main character, who suffered abuse as a child, resulted in anger issues and affecting complex. They are now an adult with a wife and child of their own, until they snap. The song describes the emotions as they come to terms with taking responsibility for their actions, and acknowledging how their behavior was perpetrated by the abuse they suffered."
