Album: Black Messiah (2014)
  • D'Angelo closes his Black Messiah album with this deep-soul romantic ballad. The cut came out of a jam. Engineer Russell Elevado recalled to Billboard magazine: "When that song came about, it was pretty magical. It was literally out of thin air. It was conceived, the way it's arranged, in one evening. Then they did another take of it the following day."
