Songfacts®:

  • This bluesy ballad, inspired by Danielle Bradbery's own previous relationships, is about recognizing your own value and not letting a love interest try to tell you otherwise.

    I'm worth it
You're crazy baby if you think that I don't know it
I ain't afraid to walk away if you can't see it, believe it
And give me the love I'm deserving

Bradbery is demanding respect from her romantic partner who doesn't see her worth.
  • According to Bradbery, the song particularly connects with fathers. "I get a lot of dads come up to me and say 'I really appreciate you singing this and having a song like this because I want my daughter to be inspired by it.' And that touches me so much because I'm like 'that's exactly what I wanted,'" she said.
  • The song's music video was shot at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. "The whole video is based on personal feelings and that's why we included a little story in the beginning - a story of thinking about myself on stage picturing this big performance," Bradbery explained to People.
