  • Danzel, real name Johem Waeem, was a Pop Idol finalist in his home country of Belgium in 2003. "Pump it Up," his second single, is a remix of a late 1990s song recorded by the Black & White Brothers. Released in November 2004, it reached #11 in the UK, #7 in Germany, #10 in Italy and #9 in Australia.
  • The song was remixed by British DJ Endor in 2019. The Brighton-born producer's version topped the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in November 2019, and also reached the UK singles chart, peaking at #8.
