Time Will Tell

Album: Resolutions (2013)
Play Video

Songfacts®:

  • The music video for "Time Will Tell" was a shot for shot remake of a 1967 Martin Scorsese short film The Big Shave. In our interview with Dave Hause, he said that he considers himself a "big Scorsese film nut," and wished for the music video to serve as an homage to the famed director.
  • This track acts as the opener to Resolutions, Hause's premier full length solo effort. This album marks a shift from his hardcore Punk-Rock roots to a more folk-infused musical style, as evidenced by the singular driving piano in the song's introduction.

Many of the songs from Resolutions were tracks written by Hause that did not fit with The Loved One's catalog. Rather than discard the songs, he kept them for this solo project.
