• "Joseph" is an anti-war metal track from Falling In Reverse that takes dead aim at government corruption, institutional violence, and military conflict. The lyrics move between a fear of death, active combat, and religious imagery, contrasting promises of heaven and martyrdom with bombs, mass shootings, and body counts.
• Frontman Ronnie Radke drives the track by shifting between rapping, screaming, and a soaring falsetto. He is joined by Slipknot's Corey Taylor and System of a Down's Serj Tankian, the first time the two legendary metal frontmen have ever appeared on the same song.
• Taylor performs his section in his Slipknot mask and gear, delivering rapid-fire screams during a staged battle sequence in the music video. His verse attacks systemic violence and the prison system, a topic that hits close to home for Radke, who formed Falling In Reverse while serving time in prison.
  
  Tankian enters during a melodic passage, bringing his signature System of a Down vocal delivery to lyrics that broaden the scope from police violence to full-scale war and genocide:

• Radke pulled off the star-studded feature by reaching out to both singers simultaneously. Having already collaborated with Taylor on earlier projects, Radke wanted to push things further. "I've already gotten Corey Taylor, but what if I got Corey Taylor in his mask?" he told Rock Feed. "Very rare."
  
  When Radke remembered Tankian had previously mentioned being a Falling In Reverse fan, he pitched both of them at once. "I was like, what if I could get both of them? Dream big, right?"
  
  Both singers replied within 10 minutes agreeing to join. Because neither initially knew the other was involved, Radke double-checked to make sure both were comfortable sharing the track. They were, leaving Radke to weave three very distinct vocalists into one chaotic arrangement.
• The title comes from Radke's middle name, Ronald Joseph Radke. That makes "Joseph" a direct companion piece to Falling In Reverse's 2024 single "Ronald," which used his first name. While "Ronald," featuring Tech N9ne and Alex Terrible, tells a wild, fictional story about Radke running from the law, going to Hell, and facing off against the Devil, "Joseph" continues that self-mythologizing storyline under his middle name.
• Radke co-wrote the track alongside All That Remains guitarist Jason Richardson, as well as Falling In Reverse members Daniel Laskiewicz and Luke Holland. Richardson doesn't play on "Joseph," but he did contribute guitar work to "Ronald."
• The music video was directed by Jensen Noen, who'd directed all the band's visual clips since 2019's "Popular Monster." Filled with plane crashes, motorcycle fights, and explosive set pieces, the video looks as though somebody handed Hollywood's action department an unusually large budget and very little adult supervision.
  
  During an elevator brawl scene, the audio briefly sneaks in a snippet of Radke's 2013 solo track "Game Over," connecting this new chapter directly back to his early catalog.
