Songfacts®:

  • Remember Who You Are is the title of a book by David Icke; it is also the title of a song by his son, Gareth. David Icke is a late 20th/early 21st Century mystic who began his career as a soccer player but was one of those unfortunate people who are afflicted with arthritis from an early age. After a very brief career he became a well known sports journalist and later moved into politics.

Gareth's song was the first single from his second album, A Brand New Battle. It's an empowering song about standing tall against the forces of oppression.
