  • Recorded as a demo in a hotel penthouse overlooking Sunset Boulevard, while Gorilla on tour in 2017, "Hollywood" features two special guests:

    Chicago house singer Jamie Principle who was on tour with Gorillaz at the time. He previously linked up with Gorillaz on their 2017 song "Sex Murder Party."

    LA resident and longtime Gorillaz friend, Snoop Dogg. The pair first worked together on the 2010 track "Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach."
  • Gorillaz premiered "Hollywood" during a live concert in Santiago, Chile on March 20, 2018.
