Album: The Boy Who Died Wolf (2016)

Songfacts®:

  • Highly Suspect comprises twin brothers bassist Rich and drummer Ryan Meyer along with their pal, vocalist and guitarist Johnny Stevens. The trio wrote this song after getting the news that a close friend had committed suicide. "I cried for a whole day," Stevens recalled to Rolling Stone. "We had the song laid down the next day within a couple of hours. It's sad, but we wanted to put together an anthem. This dude was a wild man."
