Songfacts®:

  • This ominous rocker is a collaboration between Jackyl frontman Jesse James Dupree and AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson; they wrote the song together and share vocals.

They started working on the song when Dupree visited Johnson at his home in Florida. They made progress, but didn't finish the song. Dupree worked it out over the next few weeks, and called Johnson to let him know it was ready. To his surprise, Johnson flew in the next day and recorded his vocals with Dupree.
