Songfacts®:

  • "High On Me" pairs Jazzy with Rossi, a London-based DJ known for his energetic house productions and DJ sets. They conceived the song as a tribute to raw energy and community spirit.
  • Jazzy sings about the heady rush of new desire. She co-wrote the lyrics with Theo Hutchcraft, better known as the voice of Hurts and a trusted songwriting hand behind several Calvin Harris hits, including "By Your Side" and "Free."
  • Jazzy first teased the track on TikTok in late 2024, uploading a raw vocal take. Things really took off in April 2025 when Rossi dropped the track during his MixMag LAB set and a clip from the stream quickly went viral.
  • Jazzi and Rossi launched the single with a surprise DIY-style rave in East London's Shoreditch Tunnel. No guest list, no velvet ropes, just bodies, bass, and a flashback to 1990s illegal parties. The track officially dropped June 20, 2025, but the party started long before that.
