Songfacts®:

  • Here, Jeremih tells a woman that he can't get her off her mind:

Last night we had a good time getting faded
Wake up in the morn' you was gone
It's been on my brain all day replaying

The Chicago crooner can't hold back on his feelings and keeps thinking about their encounter.
  • Producer Yung Berg samples Montell Jordan's 2000 hit single "Get It on Tonite" for the backing music.
  • Jeremih told Billboard magazine the story of the song: "I was in the studio with Yung Berg. We were working on a couple of records, just shooting out beats and he was like, 'Go young Mike [Michael Jackson] on 'em!'"
  • Chris Brown croons the second verse then Big Sean closes things out with some rhymes. Jeremih recalled: "Berg ended up hitting me one day like, 'I'm in here with Chris [Brown]. Do you mind if he gets on it?' So I was thinking if there's anyone who should be on it, it should be him. For R&B, it'd be dope. We completed it but then we played it for Big Sean then he blessed it with a verse."
  • Directed by Daniel Cz , the song's music video features Jeremih, Chris Brown, and Big Sean all trying to win over an uninterested lady. The clip represents a rare on-camera appearance for Jeremih, whose previous visual for a single was back in 2010 for "Down On Me." He did, however shoot videos for a remix of "Don't Tell 'Em" and "London," a non-single from his 2016 mixtape Late Nights.
