Songfacts®:

  • The second single by British boyband JLS from their third studio, Jukebox, is a mid-tempo number in which they implore a girl whose been scarred by bad experiences in the past to "Reach out, take my hand" and "fall in love with someone you can trust."
  • Oritsé from the band commented, "This song means the world to us. It's the kind of song we haven't done before – it's very personal. The fact that we're still here, still doing what we love and people are still supporting us is the best thing ever and we're continually thankful to everyone who buys our music and comes out to see us."
  • The song was co-written and co-produced by Nasri Atweh of The Messengers, who has co-penned several of Justin Bieber's hits including "Pray." The other songwriter and producer was Chicago born Emile Ghantous, who is a founding member of the songwriting/production duo The Insomniax and has penned tracks for the likes of JoJo, Bobby Valentino and Boyz II Men.
  • This song has nothing to do with ABBA's 1977 UK chart-topper of the same title.
