  • February 25, 1999
  • Born in London, Jordan Adetunji relocated to Belfast, Northern Ireland aged 10, and has lived there ever since.
  • Adetunji's musical journey ignited during his rebellious teenage years, a time when a thirst for creative expression began to burn. "I played the trumpet in school," he told Billboard. "I only did that to get out of class, so I didn't have to do schoolwork. I used it as a thing. I enjoyed music. It set me free from anything. At that time, it set me free from schoolwork since I didn't like to do so."
  • Listening to the R&B songs of Jhené Aiko and the rapping of Drake and Meek Mill, Adetunji developed a distinct musical taste. The video games he played also served as an influence.

"I would play a lot of games such as Need for Speed, especially Underground 2 which was my first introduction into alternative music," Adetunji told Wonderland magazine. "With that I got put on to hip hop music. Where I found the love of merging the two in different ways, which is how I began to find my sound with researching different guitar styles and type to incorporate into my music."
  • The release of Adetunji's 2023 EP Rock & Rave was a pivotal moment, but it was his "Kehlani" single that propelled him into the spotlight, charting worldwide. This breakthrough led to a deal with 300 and Warner UK.
