Songfacts®:

  • This is the theme song for Disney's Samuel L. Jackson narrated wildlife documentary African Nature. Jordin Sparks wrote and performed this tune, which rolls at the end of the movie during the credits. The lyrics may be more about taking delight in a romance, but set to footage of lions and other big cats in their African habitat, Sparks singing, "Just passing through / In the world I knew" takes on a whole different meaning.
