Songfacts®:

  • Funded by his fans, Values and Virtues is the second EP released by former Dum Dums frontman Josh Doyle after moving to Nashville. He told us about this song: "'Ghosts Like You' was inspired by showing up late at a friend's gig at renowned Nashville music venue 'The Mercy Lounge.' The 'Cargo trains rolling past the window sunbound pointed to the sea' refer to the trains you can see from the venue going from union station down to Tampa, Florida."
