Songfacts®:

  • This breathy track finds Perry singing about a love she has for a beau. She understands him, and the pair are so eye-to-eye with each other that the singer compares their relationship to that of a double rainbow.
  • Perry penned the song with the producer Greg Kurstin (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) and the Australian singer-songwriter Sia Furler, who who has also co-written hits for David Guetta ("Titanium") and Flo Rida ("Wild Ones").
