Songfacts®:

  • This song was released as the follow-up to pop/R&B singer-songwriter Kristinia DeBarge's breakthrough hit single "Goodbye." It was a double a-side along with "Sabotage."
  • OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and Evan "Kidd" Bogart, the son of Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, wrote the song. The duo previously penned together "Halo" for Beyoncé.
  • This song was previously recorded by American boy band Varsity Fanclub in 2008. It was intended to be their first single from their self-titled debut album until its release plans were shelved.
  • This track was taken from Kristinia's debut album Exposed. She told MTV News that despite its eye-catching title, the true meaning is a lot less suggestive: "I chose that title because I felt that it's me introducing myself to the world," she said. "So I wanna make sure people get to know Kristinia."
