Songfacts®:

  • Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall relocated to California following the breakdown of her marriage to drummer Luke Bullen in 2013. Penned in Los Angeles, this song finds her seeing her past heartbreak as a positive experience, thanks to the changes it brought about.
  • The joyous video was directed by Yoni Weisberg, who has also worked with Band Of Skulls and Courtney Barnett. We see Tunstall wearing different colored outfits dancing amid a collage of graphic backdrops and color-blasted stop-motion stills. "I loved the idea of pursuing that mixed media look," she told Entertainment Weekly. "Yoni wrote a beautiful synopsis for what he wanted to do, where the world around me is interacting and reacting to me, all using beautiful textures and colors."
