Songfacts®:

  • This is one of three songs on the Little Machines album that Lights co-penned with Drew Pearson. The American songwriter/producer is best known for "Home," his hit collaboration with American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips.
  • Lights admitted during a Reddit AMA that she originally hated the tune. "I just wasn't feeling it," she said. "Later on when inspiration freed up and after my team yelled at me that it was a good song, I reworked it a bit and it's one of my favs. And that felt really good!"
