Songfacts®:

  • This was released as the lead single from Little Machines. Lights co-penned the song with Josh Groban's longtime songwriting partner Tawgs Salter. The Canadian songwriter previously helped Lights pen her hit tunes "Drive My Soul" and "Saviour."
  • The song's music video was filmed by Canadian director Alon Isocianu (Thousand Foot Crutch's "War of Change"). Lights recalled during a Reddit AMA: "My only initial idea was to do a one-take video that involved a lot of chaos. Alon, the director, just took that to ANOTHER level. Just slammed a whole lot of random scenarios into an elevator, now that was fun."
