  • Lilly Wood & The Prick are a French duo comprising French-Israeli vocalist Nili Hadida and Parisian guitarist Benjamin Cotto. The pair originally met through a mutual friend in 2006 outside a Parisian café when they decided to collaborate on writing songs together.

    This melancholic dance track was originally a cut from their 2010 album Invincible Friends. The LP won the Revelation of the Public award at the 2011 Les Victoires de la Musique.
  • In 2014 German electronic producer Robin Schulz remixed the song. Released as a single, the new version topped the charts throughout Europe and also reached the Top 10 in Australia and New Zealand.
  • This was Robin Schulz's second UK #1 as a remixer, following Mr. Probz's "Waves."
  • In Shazam's 2020 list of the most-Shazamed songs ever, "Prayer In C" was #2, behind "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I.
