Frontman Nathan Leone told Kerrang! April 4, 2009 about this song: "As a band you get attention, and when you do, people come out of the woodwork to criticise you. When we started this band, we didn't think about the negative-you go out there to do something positive and affect people in a positive way- but it seems there are always little arrows that try and attack you." Leone added that this song, "is about seeking revenge on the people that pick on you."
When "Nothin' On You" reached #1 on the Hot 100, B.o.B became the first American act whose name is a palindrome to top the chart. The other two who did so prior to the Atlanta rapper were both Scandinavian groups - ABBA and A-Ha.
If counterpoint and polyrhythms are your thing, you might love these guys. Even by Progressive Rock standards, they were one of the most intricate bands of the '70s. Then their lead singer gave us Bon Jovi.
