Songfacts®:

  • Lyrically, this song is influenced by vocalist Nathan Leone's mother dying in a car accident when he was 12 years old. The frontman explained to Kerrang! magazine April 4, 2009: "You have to learn to fall in love with even the horrible moments of your life, because they make you who you are. Lyrically, this is quite personally; I talk about the bad things that have happened in my life. It's a realization that you are on a journey in life to enlightenment and happiness and that even great things can come out of tragedy."
