Songfacts®:

  • This finds Mika reminiscing about love lost. He told The Sun: "I think heartbreak is the best motivation for writing songs. You take something really sad and turn it into something delicious."

"The funny thing," Mika added, "is I wasn't living that song through the album. I was remembering something. When you're actually sad, you can't do anything because you feel worthless. It's only later when you feel good again that you have the perspective to write about feeling sad and do it well."
