Songfacts®:

  • This song is a Punk perspective on the Emo crowd. It takes on the "woe-is-me" attitude of many Emo fans, who seem to like being depressed without doing anything about it. >>>

  • Katie from Canadagosh I love this song so much. I have a friend right now who posts s--t all the time about how they hate their life, they're irreplaceable, no one wants them blah blah blah and it's like not matter how much I try to help, they don't actually want help they just want the attention. I'm kind of done with it and this song perfectly displays my feelings. I'm not completely insensitive, i've been through my own s--t but there's a complete difference over wanting help and not wanting it and gosh at a certain point it just becomes pathetic
  • George from MichiganI always thought that this song was specifically about My Chemical Romance (esp. The Black Parade album). Which is really funny since just after this MSI album, Lyn-z married Gerard Way.
  • Mouse from Shawnee, OkThe thing I like about a lot of MSI songs is that they're pretty straight foreward. If the lyrics were posted it would be pretty self-explanatory. And some might say hypocritical even. It's hard to stand out in the sea of faces, if that's what you want. From what I've seen, the goal of any clique/ crowd is to express what's inside where everyone can see it (IE what you wear). And since sight is typically the first impression, that's how you know which people are 'like you'. "You need a uniform/so you won't be ignored" "You are infected/ so you're accepted" -- The rest of the angry bits of the song just seem to be Jimmy's expression of contempt for self-created drama.
  • Jessica from Columbus, InI absolutely LOVE this song. The beat is fantastic. I'm in class at school right now so I can't say much right now. But I think that this song actually holds a point behind it. The lyrics are, in my opinion, perfect. I like they way they portray their meanings and thoughts in each of their songs. This one, though, is one of my favorites.
