  • Ice Cube wrote this song and is the lead rapper. He's one of the founders of N.W.A, along with Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and DJ Yella. Their original run (1987-1991) lasted just a few years but set the template for gangsta rap. After they disbanded, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre prospered as solo artists and in their other endeavors - Dre became a top producer and Cube a very bankable actor.
  • "A Bitch Iz A Bitch" first appeared in 1989 on the re-release of N.W.A. And The Posse, a compilation album with contributions from other acts, including the Fila Fresh Crew. That year it also appeared on the "Express Yourself" single.
