Stay With Me
by OMD

Album: English Electric (2013)

Songfacts®:

  • OMD's Andy McCluskey was struggling with this song, so he handed it over to his bandmate Paul Humphreys who added autobiographical lyrics and finished it. McCluskey told The Sun: "It's a very OMD melody, with lyrics about Paul and his daughter. Paul split with his wife when she was young and it's Paul reflecting on his time as an absent father and the difficulties he and his daughter face."
