  • "Loyal" finds PartyNextDoor pushing for commitment from his lover. The singer sees their relationship is going through a difficult patch and he pleads with her not to walk out on him. PND touts his loyalty and the "money in my pocket" as reasons to stay.
  • The singer is joined on the track by his friend and label boss, Drake. The OVO head's vocals consist of ad-libs and some repeats of lines PartyNextDoor has already sung.
  • Drake and PartyNextDoor are frequent collaborators. Previous tracks that the pair have worked on include PND's "Come and See Me," and Drizzy's "Heat of the Moment" and "With You."
  • PartynextDoor dropped a separate multilingual version that features reggaeton star Bad Bunny.
