• "Routine Rouge" is a long-lost PartyNextDoor song that spent over a decade in the vault before finally getting an official release. The track's history goes back to October 3, 2015, when PartyNextDoor debuted a batch of unreleased material on Episode 7 of Drake's OVO Sound Radio show. The following night, a version featuring Rich The Kid and Ty Dolla $ign dropped through Rich The Kid's channels. That collaboration eventually landed as a bonus track on Rich The Kid's April 2016 mixtape, Trap Talk.
  
  For 10 years, that mixtape leak was the only version available. It quickly joined songs like "Some of Your Love" in PartyNextDoor's heavily discussed vault of unreleased gems.
  
  Fans finally got an official studio release on August 21, 2026, when PartyNextDoor added "Routine Rouge" to the 10th anniversary edition of PartyNextDoor 3 (P3), alongside " Some Of Your Love" and "You Made It."
• PartyNextDoor's 2026 release is a reworked solo version. The original 2015 track features Rich The Kid and Ty Dolla $ign with self-production from PND; the album version removes both guest features. Also, Sledgren, best known for his work with Wiz Khalifa and the Taylor Gang roster, joins PND behind the production desk.
• Though the title "Routine Rouge" is not part of the lyrics, it sets the scene. "Routine" points to the familiar cycle of late nights, drinking, and after-hours hookups, while "rouge" (French for red) evokes dim club lighting, red wine, and bloodshot eyes after staying up until sunrise. The track captures that exact haze, with lyrics about pouring wine at 5:00 AM and turning hotel suites into after-parties.
• The 10th anniversary release gave the long-lost track a major second life: "Routine Rouge" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated September 5, 2026, joining "Some of Your Love" on the chart.
