This is the first single from English singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf's fifth studio album. Wolf said regarding the disc: "The new album has a direct narrative about love and optimism surviving through adversity and recession. I wanted to celebrate the love and hope I have found in the last few years."
Written and produced by Wolf, the song features strings recorded at Air Studios, London and was premiered on November 3, 2010 on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 show.
Wolf explained: "'Time Of My Life' is a song that I began writing at the end of a relationship in 2006 and then finished three years later during a temporary break-up in my current relationship."
In Gary Numan's "Cars," the message is that cars lead to a mechanical society devoid of personal interaction. This didn't stop automakers from using it in commercials. Both Nissan and Oldsmobile have used it in ads.
