Songfacts®:

  • Frontman Vic Fuentes wrote this song for one of his friends. He told Kerrang: "This girl was telling me a story about when she was a kid growing up. She was sort of neglected as a child and she told me about how she would run away and climb up this tree and hide from her parents and just wait to see if they would have a look for her. They wouldn't even know or care if she was gone. It was super sad for her that nobody ever cared if she was there or not. I thought it was such a heartbreaking story it made me so sad so I wrote that song for her."
  • The song was purposely written with a female vocal. The studio version features Lindsey Starney from Oh No Fiasco and Pierce The Veil also performed it live with Jemma McDougal from Tonight Alive.
