Songfacts®:

  • Prinz is a rapper and internet star from East London, England. After he dropped his debut single, "Peter Pan (feat. Liilz)," in 2022, Prinz's social media presence skyrocketed with over a million TikTok followers on his tail. This success pushed him to go all-in as a full-time musician.

Released on June 2, 2023, "Highs & Lows" is Prinz' debut track as a signed artist for Robots & Humans.
  • "Highs and Lows" is an anthemic lo-fi rap jam, a heartfelt tribute to loyalty and love. Prinz takes us on a roller coaster ride through the ups and downs of a relationship, showing how sticking together through thick and thin is what really matters.

"It seemed like a song anyone can relate to, no matter what time of the year it is, it fits some of every season and occasion," he said. "It's like a timeless song, no matter how much time passes it will always be relatable. It's basically me saying no matter what someone goes through I'll be there for them."
  • The song features Gabriela Bee, a YouTube and social media personality hailing from Toronto, Ontario. Prinz stumbled upon her piano cover of indie band Walk Off The Earth's 2019 track "I'll Be There" and knew he had to sample it for his own track. He pitched up her hook and turned it into pure gold.
  • Gabriela's been slaying the social media game since she was just 6, kicking it with the Eh Bee Family on Vine, cracking everyone up with their hilarious six-second vids and sometimes even showing off her singing chops. But this girl's got more than just humor in her pocket! In 2016, she dropped her first song covers on YouTube, and two years later, she hit us with her original jam, "Sound In Color." Since then, she has teamed up with Walk Off The Earth to write and produce music as well as tour together.
  • ME13 Beats created the beat. ME13 Beats also produced Prinz's cover of Rushawn Ewears' "Beautiful Day (Thank You For Sunshine)."
