Songfacts®:

  • This street single finds Ross spitting verses about his world of luxury living ("Bottles, Beemers, brand new Benzes") and the women he's seduced ("Barbies, ballerinas and Britneys"). Produced by Just Blaze, the song was debuted on October 5, 2011 on New York DJ Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show.
  • Ross namechecks Mary J Blige on his lyric, "Living life to the fullest, what's the emphasis. Making love to Mary J's 'Reminisce.'" The Bawse featured on The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul's 2011 track "Why" on which he rapped, "Hold your glasses up, baby. You're in the presence of greatness. It's the queen of our time, Mary J."
  • The song was originally released as the second single from Ross' fifth studio album, God Forgives, I Don't, simultaneously with the original first single "You The Boss." However, due to poor charting, neither were included on the final track listing.
