This is the title track from the singer-songwriter Robert Ellis' first major label release. The song finds Ellis asking his girl to take down the photos that remind him of her previous (and possibly current) lover. "It's a song about infidelity," he said in our 2013 interview.
Ellis took a different approach to the two sides of the Photographs album. The "A-side" contains songs with more original inspiration that he spent a long time developing. On the "B-side," which includes this track, he was writing songs in classic Bluegrass and Country traditions. This song evokes the classic Country songs by the likes of George Jones where the singer's heart is breaking.
