Impossible

Album: Sun Midnight Sun (2012)
  • A track from Nickel Creek singer Sara Watkins' second solo album, "Impossible" was written by Watkins, her brother Sean, and her producer Blake Mills. Written in waltz tempo, the song is about looking for love. It's often interpreted as a heartbreaker, but in her Songfacts interview, Sara said, "I wrote it to be optimistic, but many people hear it as sounding sad."
